Participants are invited to co-create a mobile ofrenda (altar) on a bicycle cart, adding personal offerings in honor of loved ones and ancestors. As the mobile altar moves through the streets, during the Altares y Muertos Bike Tour, people will bike along side it, transforming public space into a moving celebration of life, remembrance, and cultural resilience. Rooted in a dream that Atzin has nutured alongside Milagro, this workshop embodies growth, movement, and united. Join us in celebrating Dia de Muertos through art, ritual, and community-amplifying traditionan and building bridges, one altar at a time. Ofrendas de Barro - Atzin Xomali—Lagunas will be honoring five years of vibrant collaboration with businesses in Portland’s Central Eastisde.
